Luminous takes home Edie Sustainability Leaders Award

Written by Jon Towell | 07.04.22

We had a successful evening at the Edie Sustainability Leaders Awards, taking home the coveted Sustainability Reporting and Communications award for Severn Trent's 2021 Sustainability Report.

This was a report with social purpose and sustainability embedded fully across the reporting suite and corporate communications.

The judges said the following comment: “This robust credible report makes sustainability exciting. Our judges were delighted to see such strong progress demonstrated in clear formats, supported by meaningful data and examples of best practice. The website was also fun to use and very informative.”

Overall, judges scored this Sustainability Report very highly - noting it as a digital first, interactive piece of communication.

Luminous Sustainability and Impact Director Rachel Madan said, "Severn Trent’s Sustainability Report is as credible as it is engaging. The in-depth analysis of material issues is supported by a solid strategy and detailed case studies, backed up by robust targets and KPIs – and brought to life through interactive elements."

Luminous Co-Founder and Creative Director Jon Towell also said, "It was an exceptional evening for Luminous and our client Severn Trent.

While the edie Sustainability Leaders Award evidence the quality of our work across our broader sustainability communications offer, the recognition for Severn Trent evidences our ongoing ability to deliver best-in-class Sustainability Reports for large listed organisations."
