Reporting Matters 9: To the future and beyond

Our 9th edition of Reporting Matters focuses on our in-depth analysis of how well companies in the FTSE350 are integrating ESG into their corporate reporting and meeting key investor stewardship expectations.

We analysed the most recent annual reports of the largest 40 companies by market capitalisation in the FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 (at the end of March 2023), respectively, covering:

  • Environment
  • Social
  • Governance
  • Reporting changes

The research also examines how well companies are poised to report against future developments in areas such as the IFRS®Sustainability Disclosure Standards, corporate sustainability reporting directive, Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures and the Parker Review and FCA diversity reporting requirements.

The findings provide a comprehensive picture of how companies integrate Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) into their business and report on areas across ESG that investors consider decision useful. Download the full report by completing the following form.
